Plywood & Oak Chair

This chair represents the intersection of digital design and traditional woodworking. The frame is constructed from beech plywood, cut via CNC to expose the striations of the material’s edge grain. The seat, milled from solid oak, features a 3D-contoured ergonomic profile, machined using CAM surfacing paths for maximum comfort.The assembly utilizes hidden joinery to maintain a clean visual silhouette. The piece is hand-finished with tung oil, which penetrates the wood to protect it while highlighting the natural contrast between the beech and the warm oak.
